Home Theater Systems

Drawing on multiple systems at once, a custom home theater system is often the pride and joy of one’s home. It is a room for relaxation as well as entertainment. Cross Systems will work hand in hand with our clients to develop a system that not only looks, sounds, and feels amazing, but also blends seamlessly with your home decor without sacrificing functionality.

Home Automation

Having a home theater system is great. But, add a full home automation system to that, and now you have a completely different understanding of being home. Home automation is designed to make your life more comfortable and easy. When you are at home, you don’t want to be fumbling for remotes, light switches, thermostats, or other cumbersome devices. Rather, how would you like to simply access your iPhone on the way home to turn on the lights, adjust the temperature, and deactivate the alarm, as well as many other tasks? Is your home’s security on your mind while you are away on vacation? Why not log onto your computer and check not only the alarm status, but adjust the heat or air, turn on and off lights, and more? Crestron home automation systems can combine all of these and more to customize your home and ease your life of some of your stresses, and Cross Systems can facilitate all of this.

Structured Wiring

A structured wiring system is designed prior to a house being constructed, to allow for the best possible routing of wires through walls, attic space, and rooms. Typically, all of the wires come back to a room or closet that is termed the “Head End” of the system, where main components of the house systems will be located. This is also typically where the telephone, internet, and cable/satellite come into the house. By having a structured wiring throughout your home, locating a specific room, location, or wire is done with ease. Now, expanding your system is much less maddening, to say nothing of the cost you will save in the future to add on another piece of equipment.

Whole House Audio Systems

A whole house audio system can add life to any party. Rather than to turn up the stereo system in one room to a level reserved for airport runways, a whole house audio system places speakers in different rooms around the house to allow sound to be heard throughout the house at levels that are easily spoken over. In addition to allowing sound in every room, different rooms can be serviced with different sources and volume levels, allowing for different things to be heard at different volumes around the house.

Whole House Video Systems

Similar to a whole house audio system, whole house video systems permit viewers in different locations in the house to see the same image on different displays. A whole house video system can also be setup to allow different sources to be seen throughout the house. This system can also include security cameras to allow viewers to check around the perimeter of their home to see who might be lurking about, or simply see who is knocking at the front door.
